SPLEEN Mobility – International Mobility Program
Objectives of the Mobility Program
The PEPR SPLEEN international mobility program aims to strengthen scientific excellence, international visibility, and the program’s capacity to build networks by supporting high-impact international collaborations.
It is intended for doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and established researchers, and directly contributes to SPLEEN’s strategic objectives regarding scientific outreach, European positioning, and the establishment of long-term international partnerships.
More specifically, the program aims to:
– Promote international exposure and training for young researchers ;
– Establish sustainable partnerships with identified key partners, aligned with SPLEEN’s major scientific priorities and the strategies implemented by public authorities for international research alliances in the field of industrial decarbonization;
– Strengthen existing or emerging international partnerships withinthe SPLEEN projects
– Facilitate access to cutting-edge infrastructure, platforms, or expertise on an international scale ;
– Contribute to the development of ambitious European and international projects and promote technological advancement through collaboration.
The mobility program consists of two components:

*SPL’IN => Incoming mobility
*SPL’OUT => Outcoming mobility
1. EXPLORATION : Short-term international mobility (outbound and inbound)
Mobility aims to strengthen existing collaborations or foster the development of new ones and must therefore:
– Be based on an existing collaboration with at least one team involved in a SPLEEN project, or
– Clearly demonstrate the scientific and strategic added value of a collaboration with a new partner (scientific complementarity, access to specific equipment, strategic positioning, etc.).
2. CONSOLIDATION : Long-term mobility with key international partners (outgoing and incoming)
The CONSOLIDATION program aims to gradually build long-term partnerships with a deliberately limited number of key partners who are capable of making a significant contribution:
– The development of one or more major scientific themes led by SPLEEN;
– The implementation and consistency of several projects in the program portfolio;
– To strengthen SPLEEN’s positioning and global visibility.
