Collaboration with industry
The PEPR SPLEEN Industrial Committee
Established in June 2024, this advisory body is designed to involve industrial stakeholders in the work carried out within the program, leveraging their expertise and close connection to industrial sectors.
This committee embodies PEPR’s ambition to create a continuum between fundamental research, industrial demonstration, and the development of innovative technologies ready for market deployment. To achieve this, establishing regular and reciprocal dialogue between representatives from industry and those from research and innovation ecosystems is essential.

Objectives of the PEPR SPLEEN Industrial Committee
- Serve as a dialogue interface and a platform for expressing the needs of the industrial sector in upstream research, helping to guide decisions (e.g., themes for calls for projects/CEIs).
- Provide insight into the transferability of proof-of-concepts developed within the program and foster industrial collaborations (partnerships, CIFRE PhD programs, etc.).
- Share a European strategy, particularly to respond to collaborative project calls, by linking academic and industrial research with demonstration activities.
- Develop a long-term vision for the integration of low-carbon technologies to build a roadmap (maturity, deployment conditions, barriers, etc.).
