The annual PEPR SPLEEN days returns in 2026 with a resolutely international focus. Over two days, researchers, industrialists and public decision-makers will come together to share their visions, experiences and expertise in order to accelerate the decarbonisation of industrial systems.

An international opening on 18 March with a high-level round table discussion on expanding SPLEEN’s thinking internationallyand the levers for industrial decarbonisation on a global scale, attended by experts from the Spleen Think Tank Steering Committee.

Keynote speeches by international experts to broaden perspectives and fuel debate.

On 19 March, there will be a focus on promoting research results, followed by various sessions on the socio-economic challenges of carbon qualification, then sequences addressing the challenges of decarbonizing industrial heat, the technological and energy challenges of CO2 conversion, and industrial and territorial symbiosis.

Throughout the event, dynamic formats will encourage direct dialogue between research and industry, with scientific insights from SPLEEN projects and testimonials from industrialists to discuss challenges, highlights and prospects.
