POWERCO₂ annual conference: focusing on CO₂ recovery

The POWERCO2 project, dedicated to converting CO₂ into e-fuels, e-chemicals and e-chemicals, held its 2025 annual conference at the Institute of Analytical Sciences in Lyon-Villeurbanne on 17 and 18 September.
An opportunity to review the progress made in the various areas of research within the project:
- Unconventional activation of CO₂.
- Various presentations and cross-disciplinary discussions were also organised on different approaches to CO2 recovery, the meanings of efficiency for e-fuels, solar fuels and assisted catalysis, and the interdependencies and tensions between optimisation, cost and complexity.
Electrocatalytic conversion of CO₂.
- Photocatalytic conversion of CO₂.
We would like to thank Elsje Alessandra Quadrelli, POWERCO2 project manager, and all the participants for their valuable commitment to consolidating the state of knowledge and identifying new ways of converting CO₂.
